I feel with with a well structured financial model and the business leadership understanding the model inside and out; it speaks volumns about the business “colateral”. If the financial model matches the synergy of its’ vision, the road map with defined parameters, a business can structure a capital requirement plan that is acceptable to todays financial climate. During my organizational due diligence process I also insist that the Human Capital has the capabilities for the proper ROI and manged growth during the funding period or towards an exit strategy. Human Capital is equally as important as the collateral pledged!
